Job offer first. Visa second.

We match experienced IT professionals in India with German companies that have a real role open, and we only invite you when one fits.

  • A German company: Kilum Automation & Service GmbH, HRB 724764
  • You see every cost in writing before you pay or sign anything
  • Nothing to pay to join, be reviewed or interview.
  • No agents. No processing fees. No visa promises.

Create your profile

Two minutes. Verify your email, complete your profile — and you're in the pool until a role fits.

At least 10 characters. A few random words work well.

Sound familiar?

You've probably heard this story before.

It starts with a WhatsApp message. A “consultant” has a job in Germany for you. There's just a small processing fee first.

Or it starts with a friend who took the Opportunity Card, flew to Germany with six months of savings, and applied to 150 companies.

Meanwhile you have years of real experience. A notice period to serve. Parents who think every Germany job is a scam. And if you're honest, you half agree with them.

You're right to be careful. Most of this industry runs backwards: visa first, hope later. Pay first, see later.

We run it the right way round. A German company with a real role. Interviews with real people. An offer in writing. Then the visa.

  • Any level of German, including none. Just tell us honestly.
  • Open to moving to Germany in 2027

  • Anyone looking for a job-search visa

We'd rather tell you now than waste your time.

Why there's a waitlist

What you're waiting for, and why.

We only invite you when a German employer has a role that fits your profile. That's the whole reason there's a list.

  1. 01Received
  2. 02Reviewed by a person
  3. 03In the pool for your track
  4. 04Matched to a role
  5. 05Invited

A real person reads every profile. You'll hear from us within 14 days of your request. If you're not matched yet, we tell you why and what would help, such as a recognition check, a CV fix or German A1.

Nobody can buy a faster invite. Not with money, not with referrals, not through an agent. Fit decides.

From the founder

Why we built Velai

I was 13 when my family came to Germany from Sri Lanka. We didn't speak the language. Nobody told us which office came first, which form mattered, or who to trust. My parents figured it out the hard way, one closed door at a time.

When we looked to India, we met brilliant people. And we watched them get lost: between agents who promised everything, fees nobody explained, and paperwork nobody walked them through.

Velai is what my family didn't have. One honest process. One person who answers you. And the truth about what's possible, including when the answer is “not yet”.

More about us
True, and often missed

Three facts agents rarely tell you.

1

No degree? An IT Blue Card is still possible.

IT specialists without a recognised degree can qualify with at least 3 years of IT experience in the last 7.

2

Your spouse doesn't need German.

The spouse of a Blue Card holder needs no German for the family visa, and can work in Germany.

3

The IT salary threshold is €45,934.20.

That's the 2026 gross annual minimum for an IT Blue Card. We check every offer against it before you accept.

What it costs

One fee. Only when you have the offer.

Everything up to the signed job offer costs you nothing: joining, the review, the interviews. Then one one-time placement fee of €5,000 — due only after you have signed a German job offer, never before. Agencies and recruiters typically charge ₹8–15 lakh upfront, before anything has happened. You see every cost in writing before you sign anything.

  • €0 to join, be reviewed or interview
  • €0 until your signed job offer
  • €5,000 — only after the signed offer
